Insurance companies are totally tightening up their regulations within the recent months, I’ve had Geico for about five years since I started driving at 16, I’ve gotten two speeding tickets in the last three years and I’ve had a couple of claims only one where I was at fault, and they straight up just sent me a letter and terminated my insurance upon the renewal date! No questions asked just done ! I’m not the best driver but I think my insurance wouldn’t have been canceled if it wasn’t for how the economy is right now

I have buy car insurance in uk since last month but my agent/Broker give wrong data to company about me now i have received insurance policy paper and check that my insurance data is wrong now i can't understand what i can do

my insurance company more or less caused a nonpayment. my payments usually go out on the 20th of each month, but after doing my taxes, I had noticed my Assessment came back incorrectly and I usually pay my CI with my tax credit. I had to re-assess my taxes and I contacted my insurance provider to change the dates of payment. They got the dates wrong, and when come time to w/d payment, payment wasn't in the bank. I realized what had happened and contacted them. Banks are pirates! They targeted me and charged me for NSF. I had to close my account and open a new account somewhere else to stop them from taking the insurance payment. I told my insurance provider but they canceled my policy for non payment, however, they still got the payment. I've sent complaints in, but they didn't do anything. How do I get the nonpayment off my file? I'm no longer with the insurance provider. thanks from Ontario Canada

A problem I have had is after 1 minor homeowners insurance claim they raise their rates to the point where I have to switch companies. I get that my rates are going to rise when I submit a claim but a 4k homeowners insurance claim shouldn't cause my homeowners insurance to go up by 50% and my car insurance to almost double. I know they are way overcharging me because when I get quotes from other companies they are significantly less. It seems like an idiotic strategy to me because if they raised my rates a reasonable amount they could re-coup the money they lost but if I immediately switch companies they re-coup nothing. If I had many claims on my record I can see where they might raise my rates to get rid of a risky customer but my driving record is perfect no tickets/accidents in almost 10 years and I have only filed 1 4k homeowners insurance claim my entire life.

Hi, my car insurance company cancelled my policy after a payment issue, but failed to notify me of the issue or the cancellation… And so left me driving for the last 9 months thinking I was insured! They now tell me it was a “glitch on their system, That Although Payment was successful, the bank never released the money, yet they are not blaming the bank as the glytch is on their system!!
