Just curious, how are these tips supposed to help get the claim resolved quickly and accurately? Seems like they are tips to just torture the claims adjuster and drag things out.

Hi. You got all the adjusters pissed at you on here lol. Thats how you KNOW you doing something right. -What is the reason to file mediation and why is it good for them not to know?

As an insurance fraud investigator of 33 years and former law enforcement officer, this man is giving very poor advice that could get your claim denied or even get you charged with insurance fraud. He seems to have no understanding of an insurance policy and the duties after a loss.

You're making legitimate PAs looks bad. Isn't there enough real business out there?

Play dumb? Video record? Don’t show up for the inspection?? Sounds like a video of how to waste time and drag a claim out. This is literally the worst advice I’ve ever heard from a PA who ultimately wants to trick the adjuster and the insurance company. Smh

The tip about not being there during the inspection is brilliant!

Uh, you advised to video record the damage inspection – then advised to _not_ be present during inspection, so as to avoid providing answers that will be used against your claim. How's that work? Should you have a friend do the recording?

7:05 "how to pull one over on the insurance adjuster" implies you are fraudulent. I feel sorry for whomever hires you to handle a claim. It's about reaching a fair and equitable settlement, not pulling one over an adjuster or insurance company. You even listed senarios where the an insurer could rightfully deny a claim. Thanks for helping our industry get a shitty reputation.
Definition of pulling one over - To fool or deceive one; to make one the victim of a prank or hoax. I'm pretty sure you aren't pulling one over the people that watch this garbage. 🤢🤮 Many people calling you out.

Following my tornado claim, the insurance company adjuster was awesome. It was a give and take process that I thought was very fair.

Trick number 4 - yes of course let’s provide false and misleading information.

Other wise know. As misrepresentation or in simple terms, fraud.

What great tips 😂

Just because a wall is "damaged" or "stained". Doesn't mean it was damaged by an insured peril... nor does it mean that the wall cannot be repaired by drying equipment, stain blocker and paint.... and the schedule of loss or list of contents, adjusters want that, so I'm sure they would be happy you already completed it, idk why you want them to sign it, they Haven't inspected the contents nor are they contents experts, they may be electronics that need specific experts to open and look at it. If you cannot indicate when the damages happened the isnruance company may come to the conclusion they could of been done at different times and that could mean different claims and multiple deductibles... not a great idea. It's a statutory condition to work with the insurance company on your claim, they may even have a condition that requires you to make a statement under oath... you are just trying to be difficult, it will not help.

Mike, do you know anyone who does your job in California?

This guy sounds like someone who put a claim in because the neighbors down the road got new roofs from hail damage and he feels his 30 year old roof should be replaced too and didn’t get one. And now he hates all insurance companies and is hoping you ride his train lol adjusters are way more willing to find solutions when the insureds are transparent and helpful. The adjusters are paid hourly, not on how much money they save the company by denying claims or “lowballing” lol people don’t do these things, you’re setting yourself up for a poor claims experience that’ll most likely be dragged out longer than it needs to be.

IA’s are largely paid on a fee schedule. The larger the claim, the greater the fee.

I dunno- I’ve always thought the best “trick” is to just be honest.
