As a foreigner, I've always noticed how almost all U.S. elections revolve around social issues like abortion, drug legalization, gay/trans rights and whatnot. It's clear to me that politicians use these issues to manipulate voters emotionally and morally (and then behind closed doors those politicians engage in all sorts of immoral activities anyway.)

Seeing RFK discuss things like national debt, food industry issues, obesity and healthcare, and excessive military budget... blows my mind. This is what politicians are supposed to care about!!
