Practice QSO - Exchange 1- Beginning - 15wpm

Показать описание

This QSO protocol is broken down into the 1. Beginning (RST, QTH, Name), 2. Information (Rig, Antenna, WX), 3. More Information (Ham FER, Age, Occupation), and 4. Ending (pleasantries, 73).

For each QSO segment, try to head-copy it. First, the segment is sent in Morse code. Then it is spoken. And finally, it is sent again in Morse code. If you missed it the first time when it was sent, the second time allows you an opportunity to learn it. (More speeds below.)

In terms of practice, it is better to have more frequent and shorter practice sessions over one or two longer practice sessions per week. Ideally, practice sessions should be no more than 15 or 20 minutes long, with two to three sessions per day. This video is long enough that you can keep coming back to it and pick up where you left off.

I'm also a beginner and this is very nice, so thank you for sharing, however let me ask, how can a speedup my writing skills?

Wonderful! Have not used CW in about 40 yrs, and have not had a CW QSO for about 60 yrs, until a week ago. Perfect speed for getting used to reading it in my head, which I never did before. Also practical text, and long enough so I won't really need any other sources, except occasionally daring to get on the air. Tnx de LA0CY

Perfect. Thank you so much for these.

I’ve been CWing from the car while driving around town....because I can....it’s been a bit of fun, but I still need to improve my head copy as I miss some stuff, but usually hear enough to get the gist of the over.

I’ll be passing the links to these on :-)
