Proto Tech Tip - Converting Design Files to Sheet Metal

Every week, Team Protocase is bringing you a Proto Tech Tip video, where we'll give an informative look at a particular aspect of sheet metal fabrication and CNC Machining.

CAD design files in STEP, IGES, Parasolid and even SolidWorks will not have sheet-metal features by default. This means they'll need to be converted to a sheet-metal file in order to create the sheet-metal part or enclosure that you need.

In this Proto Tech Tip, Chris shows you to the two ways to properly convert a non-sheet metal file into a sheet-metal file.
