Turkish F-16 Viper Ultra Low Pass #aviation

Показать описание
This is one of the greatest F-16 Viper low pass over a fishing ship videos you may ever see. The Turkish F-16 pilot is may be 50 feet off the water going 500-600 knots ground speed. Pulling up over the ship you can see the Viper’s wake in the water caused by the F-16 moving through the air and the engine set at high power. The fishing boat crew must have known this Viper pilot was coming because they had their cameras ready. You can see the shock wave shaking the boat as it goes over the top of it. #aviation #avgeek #military #pilot #pilotlife #flight #flying #fly #sky #ocean #airplane #aircraft #jet #video #photography #photo #videoviral #airforce

Wingspan of the F16 is 33 feet. No way in hell he's more than 25-30 feet above the water.

Williams AFB in Arizona. My friend and myself decided $15 bucks was just out of our reach so we snuck in to the air show through the desert and ended up just on the tarmac at the most southern part of field. I have no idea why we didn't get kicked out while we sat in lawn chairs drinking beer on the top of my camper shell as the Blue Angles pulled low passes directly over our heads at 500 knots as we are standing up cheering them on. Best seat "ever" in the history of air shows. I feel very blessed for have listened to my guardian angel.

I'm not claiming to be the expert, but I do have perfect vision and that was a hell of a lot lower than 50 ft.

Edit: can you visualize a 5 story building fitting between the bottom of the Viper & the surface of the water? No way...

It just makes this vid that much cooler!

Turkish and Greek pilots are in a cold war state for nearly 40 years with daily dogfights-interceptions. They are very well trained.

I wish there were GoPros in the 1950's. My dad was squadron leader in Zweibrucken, Germany when he dipped down and created a rooster tail and crept up on some fisherman in his F-86. No fisherman were hurt or swamped during that stunt. He climbed back up and said don't ever do that.

That was no 50ft. That was more like 20ft. That other plane looked more like 50ft.

Watching with the sound off I was like "wow that boat's moving fast, no wonder the guy's got a helmet on" and then I saw the actual boat

Do that with a American F16 as a pilot in training hours and you have some explaining to do😅

Over Greek territory and over a Greek fishing boat. That’s exactly how the Turkish country is

It really is probably one of the best low-pass videos I've ever seen 🙌

These pilots are the definition of ELITE

They fly so low cause they entered the Greek airspace. And as you can see they bullied a boat. A 'normal ' day in aigean.

Those fisherman must have pooped their pants.

That the single most spectacular video I’ve ever seen of a low flying aircraft! Phenomenal!!

Fact Check for all Greek friends who claims and wrote that Turkish F-16 flight over greek fishing ship Aegean Sea: That was for a scene "Hur" tv series, 1st episode 3rd minute 29 sec. Filmed over Marmara sea and not over greek fishing ship because they can't go there. Easy to check before write something. How come both greek captain and F-16 pilot takes video of same flight, edit it and shares on youtube. Also F-16's and their pilots much more valuable than scare fishing boats. Brain is free, use it.

My dad did this with his trainer in the Golf of Mexico while training at Pensicola. It was 1956 and they may have been flying a Demon. They could see the wake of the big fishing boats from 10, 000 ft. They would go down and approach from the bow as the guys were fishing off the back. The fishermen never saw them coming. 100 times better than a sneak attack at an air show.
