The best REO song EVER...maybe the best rock n roll song to cruise down the road.

I always love the beginning of your videos ...

That cats going to be an MRE! I laughed out loud. Another well thought out video. What separates you from the field is your dialogue about the topic. The THOUGHT PROCESS. You think about what you do. I respect the hell out of that. Keep it up.

Hey SSBA your inch bag video is great. My husband is 6'7", my dog is 75lbs., so we pack the small family tent and tarps as well. Love your hummor, still chuckling, God Bless.Shalom.

Hey SSBA, some Harbor Freight Hints. Get yourself some of those "FREE with any Purchase!" 5x7 Blue Tarps. Get a can of Spray Adhesive. Dig those Emergency Blankets out of the Trash. Spray one side of the Tarp, let it set up. Do the same to the Blanket. Join the two together. You now have a Po Boys Space Blanket. For the Deluxe Model, get your roll of 2 inch Gorilla Tape and Tape the edges together along the Perimeter, and break out your bag of Harbor Freight Grommets and add some more along the edge. Two of those Po Boys joined together make a nice 5x7 Bivvy with Reflective Interiors for Fall/Winter Camping. Or Lean To. Or Whatever. Second Tip. Get the 11x15 Camo Harbor Freight Tarp for the Family Tent. String it up kinda high (so you can walk under it) and pitch the Tent towards the back, yet still under it. Why? So you can have a "Living Room" for the Family w/o getting Wet. Unless you LIKE riding out a Thunderstorm all crammed together in a Small Tent. That "BFT" is surprisingly durable and comes Highly Recommended from some Smart Preppers. Hope this helps.

I'm the same way. I like to be concealed as much as possible. Camo is my favorite color lol. I'll have to check out your camo video. I thought I watched all your vids and that one slips my mind. My mind has faded a bit with my age lol. Thanks for sharing.

I'm in the same boat brother. I got the Ozark 4 man backpacking tent. We've used it several times and it's held up really good so far.

Good stuff brother. I keep two camo tarps and one blue tarp in my bag and jute twine & paracord, that's my survival shelter! Some of my buddies thinks I'm crazy not just packing a tent but I can make lots of different shelter configurations with just that stuff and doesn't take much space in the pack, what can I say I'm old school lol. Man I should've got in on the INCH bag challenge!

I found a few 2-man tents leftover in Tesco (store here in Ireland) for €0.50 or so each. They're not great against rain but they're similar to the $25 tent you picked up. It doesn't weigh much so I strap it on the outside and use it alongside my good tent for storing extra gear and firewood.

Speaking about military surplus, I still have a hammock and mosquito bar that I was issued for jungle school in the 80s. Still in great shape, and with a poncho makes a great hooch.

SHTF sleepover, cat MRE! Lol! Hilarious. But great info too. And I have used the small ozark trail tents in some fairly rough rough weather (excluding the single man tent). They hold up ok. Loving this INCH bag series so far. Just found your channel a few days ago.

Great video. Our bags and most of the contents are G.I. issue. You most definitely can find lighter civilian gear but weeks to months into a bug out the civilian stuff will most likely be worn out. I like the insurance that my equipment will not break on me.

I have a big family tent and a couple smaller dome tents. I didn't think about it until you mentioned painting. I'm going to try using Rit dye to get them to a subdued OD Green. I have been buying Rit here and there so I can dye some clothes and some gear with the ACU camoflage pattern to OD Green or close to it. Look up Rit dye recipes and you will find a PDF with a crap load of different colors.
