I'm going into my 4th year of uni and planning to do as many internships as possible before graduating. I currently have an internship in corporate finance for the fall but I really want to build a career in asset management and the portfolio manager course would set me up on the right path with the appropriate skills moving forward!

Great video Afzal Hussein. Last November, I graduated from University of the West Indies, Mona Campus with BSc in Economics and Statistics. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get internships because I had to travel to the US on the J1 program to put myself through school. Now I have an internship at one of the largest Investment company in Jamaica where I got some small exposure to asset management and ever since I’ve wanted to make the switch and focus on asset management. I know I’m young (23) and have time but I want to put myself in the best position possible to achieve this.
