Here are 2 lovely mature eggs being injected using ICSI. Whilst it takes a little under a minute, what we don’t realise is that to get here was countless appointments, injections, ultrasounds, an egg collection, semen sample and then the insemination

What a lot of people don’t realise is that it is all of the before steps that impacts this 1 minute of time putting the sperm inside the egg

Proper diagnosis is needed. Good stimulation is required. Successful egg collection. Mature eggs. Sperm prepared and found. These all play a part in all of the minutes putting them together to create the embryo. Its kind of crazy the amount of people and effort needed to reach this point...but i guess the end result is worth it all
