Why couldn't she shoot me the face with the fine mist one instead of the laser death beam one? NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT THE FINE MIST!

It took a small bit of practice, but now my relationship with acrylic paint is vastly improved. I almost cried when I made the softest, puffy, fluffy, wispy clouds ever in my painting career! Lisa, I thank you for this and all you have taught me.

I have recently learned the fine mist water technique when painting northern lights, but I’m happy you’ve helped me to appreciate that it can be used in so many other acrylic applications. I started painting in my 60’s and turned 70 yesterday. Videos like yours are giving me more and more confidence to press forward. I’m enjoying it so much more now that I’m seeing some advancements with each painting. Never too old to learn more and more!!!
Thank you

I've avoided acrylics for years simply because I've not been able to make them look like oils, which are my first love. But now... fine misting! Who knew?!?. I'm so glad you're video 'accidentally' popped up in my feed. I can't wait to try this.

Omg your husband's willingness to be on your videos and be sprayed with a water bottle is commendable, amazing and HILARIOUS!
Im just starting to explore acrylics, so I appreciate the tip!

I've used a fine mister for years. I love the one from chroma atilier. I realized I had stumbled onto something amazing when several people who "hate acrylics" due to the plastic look just gushed over my work and "loved my oils"...that were acrylics. I don't work with oil paint. I'm so glad to see someone sharing this with beginners!
You and your husband are hilarious 😆 ❤️

Hahahahaha loved this! You’re husbands such a good sport. Thanks for the painting tips as well. Definitely going to give them a try, I totally lean to the smooth blending. I fear I often overblend🙈

I loved that you use a make up fluffy brush to blend. They are definitely the best for that! Thank you for these amazing tips! ❤️

I prefer oils……BUT, you also need ( for your health’s sake) good ventilation. Winter time makes it more difficult because you can’t crank open windows. Acrylics-winter, oils-summer.

This painting is amazing. You’re super talented. And you inject humor and have your husband help out. And you explain everything, and describe the brushes too 😭 Protect this woman at all cost.

You're great. - that aside I have been using your blending technique you're discussing for years and I didn't know that people find it hard or that most people dont know about it, you enlightened me. I love your work. Thanks for your videos

I am so impressed with this work. Thank you for showing it is possible to get acrylic to look like oil. I have some old acrylic that I wasn't sure I wanted to use and had preferred to get oil but you helped me change mind.

Oh my gosh that racoon painting is cute and beautiful!!
Awesome tips for blending!!! It is one of my most frustrating things but I just don't want the added dry time and even more so money and cleaning solvents that you need with oils. So I look forward to trying this :) thanks!!
And your hubby is a great sport!! Every good marriage has lots of laughter and clearly you guys do!! 😁

Another great video Lisa (and Matt)! Made me 😂. Your tips for a fine mist sprayer and blush brushes were game changers for me and my frustrations with acrylic. I tried a smooth canvas with my last painting and I was amazed by the difference it made. Thanks for all you do!
