you are absolutely right about acrylic getting scratched super easy, i use clear tinting film for the opposite side of acrylic, its way easier to clean and doesnt get scratched and easy to replace.

“Glass does come in frosted flavor” that was the best confusion gold I’ve ever seen. Thank you for not editing out! 😁

I worked for an aquarium manufacturing company in the 1970’s. We built an infinity aquarium. The fish would repeat themselves to infinity. The downside was that the water had to be crystal clear… dirty water just got dirtier with each repeti on.

While I'm not into woodworking at all, I wanted to let you know this was a great video. I really enjoyed how you explained your design decisions and discussed what you'd do differently for future iterations. Great job!

Wow. This is really helpful, ESPECIALLY with putting things in the mirror, and giving a visual for how different distances affect depth. Thank you sir!

When people leave a thumbs down, 👎🏼, why don’t they leave feedback as well?

This is a great build. I like that you were able to use acrylic for the whole enclosure and leave the edges so they distribute the muted light. The LED light strips are easy to work with and since you were wrapping it inside, you were able to make the box with the corners in the right place for the bend. That was pretty clever, too. If you do decide to make a video dedicated to working with acrylic, I think it would be very well received. I've had limited use with it and have had chipping issues, but this video helped me with that for future projects. And of course there's the problem with static buildup that attracts every piece of dust in the room, so I'd like to hear your ideas concerning that. Keep up the good work, sir!

Great Job. Let me share another simple trick. If you have access to a Cricut vinyl cutter you can create a frosted glass name, logo or whatever you like and apply it to the back glass mirror. This will scatter the light and brightly illuminate the logo. If your mirror is acrylic use the frosted glass vinyl sold at Wal-Mart... last time I checked it is where the Contact paper is sold in housewares. If you want to go a bit fancier ON GLASS, you can acid etch the logo using the vinyl cut out as a mask. Armour etch acid is the brand I have. Thanks for the video!

We had those back in the 70s 😎 very cool. I just learned about the different type of acrylic. ie cast vs extruded but would like to know more about acrylics.

love infinity mirrors! The box in the center gives this a calming vibe. I can’t explain it... I am just weird.

This was an awesome video. Do you have anymore videos dealing with acrylic or even adding the scenery to the infinity mirror?
