Bass was in every sub genre that you mentioned and more because bass is the most important sound in modern music, because of 808 which is technically a bass sound and bass came before guitar

in my opinion it's drums first, then piano, then guitar. if we're if we're including both acoustic and electric guitar then we're including piano, keyboard, organ, synth, midi piano. it may not have been as popular in the 60s but if we look at the vast majority of modern pop, house and edm, and as well all the hallmarks of jazz and blues, there's a solid case to be made for keys
