Officials said the Park fire is now the biggest wildfire in the country and the sixth-largest in California's history. The fire is just one of dozens burning through parts of California and the Northwest. One man who lost his home in the deadly Camp fire in 2018 has just seen his new home burn down. NBC News' Steve Patterson reports.

The fact that one guy was able to make a fire that spread that big shows a failure on the state’s part to implement proper infrastructure. If they made fire breaks, had strategic water supplies, or even pretended to care about forestry maintenance, this wouldn’t keep happening several times a year.

My support and appreciation to the US Forrest Service firefighters for their hard work. ❤

It’s not the climate. It’s because the forests haven’t been maintained how they should be

Wait, they said climate fires. False. They already arrested the dude for setting his vehicle on fire and pushing it into the woods. Where this fire started.

Shocking this continue neglect of the forest, thinning of trees and any kind of forest management. And it does not cause a greater chance of fire.

Quit issuing permits to build in these areas. All o these areas were ranch land and open space and they are now filled with residential with no fire suppression units or emergency access roads. The trend started to happen with real estate speculation in the State and unregulated Global real estate investment. Common sense . Don't build in these areas. They can't even set backfires or controlled burns now because houses are built in areas where they shouldn't be.

What do we do when there is no where to go and nothing to do ?

I do not want to hear anyone blame cars for pollution when fires are allowed to destroy hundred of thousands of acres of land causing a huge pollution issue.
