Homie, turn your ads back on.
I know it’s annoying but we deal with it because we want to watch. You are using your time to make these for us and so you should collect that ad revenue so you can make more videos! ❤

i just tape a small sony mic recorder to the main mic and any 2 mic. celebrants and djs are fine most of the time and nice but i have issues with some ''MC''S where they make a big deal and get all emotional about their mic being taped with another mic. i even had an major argument once with one of them as he didn't let me tape a mic on his mic. ended up telling the groom or i was about to knock him out and the groom got into an argument with him also. was one of the worst experience's i had to deal with. this method has worked on hundreds of weddings for me but i am trialling the h6 recorder and just getting an audio out from a speaker now as extra back up. thank you for the video Chris, Audio it is always a tricky part of an wedding day.

appreciate the tips, audio can be so overwhelming for newbies like myself but a necessary tool to master

I believe that YouTube will run ads whether or not you turn monetization on annoyingly, so you might as well turn it on if ads will be there either way. YouTube was running ads on my channel before I was even eligible for the Partner Program

I Denmark there often aren't any sound system at venues.
I currently got 2 DJI Mic sets and 3 black and 1 white Røde lavalier. I simply get a copy of when what is happening and then ally myself with the Toastmaster and then attach the microphones to the speakers right before they are about to give a speech.

I used to use a Sennheiser AVX system + Zoom H6 (That's like 2500 dollars). But this new way with DJI Mic is way better and they are always charged.

Great video mate. I have zero experience in videography so this is useful 👌

Thanks for that chris I was going to ask who you do your audio 👍🏻

Great video. We work pretty much the same way; I have been taping the Rode Wireless Go2 transmitters to mics for a while. Like you, we have now switched to the DJI's

Hey Chris. Thanks for the video. Have you ever noticed any interference when attaching the DJI Mic’s if the DJ is also using a handheld wireless mic system?

Shot Chris. Sometimes it feels like the celebrants and venues compete for the cheapest mic set up 😂 Can never have enough backups

I am wondering how you deal with very windy outdoor ceremonies in terms of audio. Thanks so much.

If you were to mic up someone with a DJI Mic transmitter, are you using just the onboard mic or using a lav plugged into that? If so what’s your recommendation? I’m running just the standard Rode Lavs but have heard a few people mention some other lavs!

Turn your ads on! You have to make something for all your work. Thanks for the tips.

with the dji mics is the audio feed still as clear as zoom H6 ? and what other accessories do you need for zoom h6 to plug into reception / ceremony feed?

So if you record with the Hzoom. Do you only sync up the parts that will be in the video ? i know it can be good if one fails but is there a way to record the audio wireless ? its prob a really bad idea lol

I’ve been using the RODE wireless ii in the same way as you use your Dji. I’ve been attaching it to the portable celebrant and Dj mics for speeches and ceremonies. Occasionally though, the RODE mic creates interference with the PA microphone system and either makes a high pitch hissing noise come through the celebrant/Dj systems or makes the system cut out. Is this preventable ?
