I think most Americans view North Koreans as stuck in a very bad situation. They don’t feel any animosity towards the people, just the government. I think they feel quite badly for the people & the circumstances they’re stuck with.

No one wears their shoes in bed in America.

Imagine using the word “escaped” when speaking of your birth country or former home nation. God bless this woman, so courageous, intelligent and beautiful 🙂

I don't know any Americans who wear shoes in bed. Maybe socks in colder states to keep their feet warm but shoes no.

Happy to watch this. More unity and understanding is what the world needs.

I didn't know we wear shoes to bed, until I saw this video - maybe socks on cold days, but that's it. Now, it is true I often don't take my shoes off at the front door, but I always take them off before getting into bed.

It's great to see your production with the North Korean defectors back. Their story and perspective is always interesting.
Will there be another video with Christina( @ChristinaDonnelly ) ? She's got a good sense of humor.

If people would only ask a very few questions, such as; why is North Korea the way it is and South Korea so very different… People are far to self absorbed these days. I’m 52 and used to watch MASH when I was a kid. I knew Korean War veterans, and I asked questions. Keep asking questions and seeking truth 🙏🏼🙂

Question for North Korean defectors: Considering North Koreans are taught to dislike Americans, how do North Koreans feel about Americans visiting (traveling to) North Korea?

This is a great video. Great watching both of you. I hope you come to the US. We do like North Koreans. You will love the US. I also hope North Korea opens up.

Question for North Korean defectors: Now that you have escaped and experienced other countries, if you could contact someone in North Korea, what would you tell them about the 'outside world'?

I'm curious if they would tell them the 'outside world' is much better, or Americans aren't bad. Or do North Koreans know the 'outside world' is better.

Most of the US Nukes are from the 60's and have been upgraded and updated to this date. Some have been decommissioned but the majority of the US nukes are from a much earlier era with significant updates to everything in the older systems that make them current and viable.

Just hearing the FIRST QUESTION, that makes me wonder. . . . . . . . WHAT DO PEOPLE LEARN ABOUT HISTORY?!!! 😮

For the record, the USA does not make nukes anymore. We still have them and maintain the ones we have and continue to develop new methods of delivering the ordinance such as cruise missiles and glide bombs, but do not produce new warheads. In fact the total number of nukes have been reduced and the number of small tactical nukes have been greatly reduced in the US arsenal. Right now the USA has what it considers is a sufficient deterrent to all the other countries with nukes in the event they were all to threaten an attack that we could ensure a response. Russia allegedly has several times the amount of nukes the USA has but the viability of those warheads and the actual functionality of their delivery systems has been called into question in light of the recent deficiencies in the battlefield readiness and equipment neglect in the rest of their military equipment due to high level corruption and embezzlement of funds meant to pay for training and upkeep throughout the Russian military.

My understanding about NK medals, is that they not only wear the medals that they have earned but also the medals of their father and grandfather
