The cpu needs more cooling as it’s the first one to be hit with massive voltage from the power supply, we’re getting multiple nitro 5 laptops powering off during game play and never coming back on again, due to a mosfet burning out from the massive voltage with no protection to the cpu after this happens, this in most cases causes the cpu to fry up real quick. Don’t get one until this problem is solved.

Nice video ! I have the same laptop with 165 mhz monitor . The only thing concerning me are the thermals. Your are right about those temperatures. I have turned turbo boost off to keep it cool with temperatures around 70 °C in hevy loads but in cost of performance. I was wondering if the repaste can bring those temperatures down . I have found some threads about that and they say they got the temperatures down around 10- 15 °C . The thermal paste they used is trash.The question remains, should i repaste my nitro 5?? Give some honest opinion .

Any gaming laptop is a letdown, they don't last, I bought a Steam Deck and I gave up gaming on PC completely. Even at lower resolutions it's just a better experience imo. And it won't MELT in 6 months or need thermal paste changing. imo.
