It's a great ride. I like the theme that it is a wild beast running through the forest. And the classic wooden tracks make it a rough ride - you know you are really moving fast as this thing throws you around. The video can't capture that. If you are at Kings Island be sure to ride it - and then ride it again at night, even better.

I used to have a season pass to Kings Island and would ride the Coasters on my way home from work. This was the late nineties. I first rode The Beast when it opened in April of 1979. when I was 12 . I must have waited in line for 5 hours it seemed. I will never forget that moment. My all time favorite coaster.
