Hi. You do the best xc70 videos on YouTube. I have a 2008 xc70. Have considered trying led for the dip beam on the h7 lamps.

I did this and added a yellow film on the lens. I think it looks great. And adds a level of better visibility in fog…which is what they’re for? As always….thanks.

Hey buddy.
That is 68 small leds on each bulb @ 5000k.
They do look good during day and night but at night they will not provide any lighting.
Will do a video at day & night tomorrow.

Hi, is there any way to turn front fog lights on and off separately via steering inputs like VW’s do at slow speeds?

What headlight bulbs are you running are those LED? They look nice and pure white just wondering the brand? Thanks

Nice vid! To adjust fog lights vertically, is that screw we can see on the vid?

I have a 2015 XC70, that only has the Botton for only the rear fog lights. Not the front ones.
Do you know if i can install the Botton and function for the front fog lights?

I just ordered Nokya H8 Cosmic White at 5000k. I want some light on the road compared to just cool look of the leds.

I just noticed the fog lights interior reflector that reflects the light doesn't cover the sides which would reflect more if they were like the headlights of which the entire inside reflective area is covered. Its easy to understand why there is minimal amount of light shining on the road. Again, a lot of trouble and expense to make something look cool without focusing on what the purpose is.

I would like to replace my HID headlight DRL with LED foglights on my 2011 Xc70 like the last facelift but I can't find if the software can be updated to turn on automatically - has anyone achieved this?

I'm more inclined to look at after market fog lights that shine on the road although I'm concerned with all the plastic and styrofoam under the bumper and most of the front end. Mounting is going to be a challenge.

I don‘t think that the xenon update will be much more expansive than your other replacements, specially you are in US. Thanks for your video though and I will support your video continually

well i just purchased a 7.5W cree type LED from amazon. They are those powerful ones with projector style led.. i used to have similar ones on turn signal for my Lexus . Cant wait to test them out :)

Note: i really like the new 2014 DRL LED for S80 and V70. have you looked at those?
