The parts when Chuck, Newt, Winston, and Teresa died made me cry

I think the two most underrated deaths in the series are Jeff and Winston. Jeff literally sacrificed himself for Minho because he knew that would save his friends, while being one of the youngest gladers, and Winston’s line “it’s ok” when they give him the gun is just heart wrenching. Both were honestly the most devastating for me.

To think about how only four out of HOW MANY survived the entirety of— blawh is crazy. Thomas, Minho, Frypan, and Gally are really lucky. There were so many of them and so many sacrifices made. Also to think about how the survivors are still young so when they’re older, they’re not even going to remember what their friends really looked like probably although they’ll definitely remember the trauma that came with all of their deaths. Thomas may remember Newt’s eyes that faded into “a dark abyss” as the book said or something along those lines, but I don’t want to think about that. I love this trilogy so much, but it’s so tragic.
