How to Backflush and Unclog Your Sawyer Squeeze

In this video I go through my procedure for backflushing my Sawyer Squeeze water filter. Additionally I give a tip on how to unclog it, if your flow rate has drastically reduced.

Thanks for this! I learned the hard way that I need to back-flush my filter... it was completely clogged after being stored for several months. I was shocked because I only used it once. I'm about to go on another trip and just back-flushed it!

Quick tip: tap your filter on the counter on its side wile rotating it. Keep back flushing and tapping until watter is clear with no debris. My filter is 5 years old. Pro tip never let it dry out.

O my gosh 🤦🏻‍♂️this dude is also a carpenter wow glass glass glass I glad you hit the mail on the head about what type of water to back flow omg yea it does matter just like you said at the end hit it with air hose king not got oil in the tank better moister canecter as drip that start on line come the tank before air hoes or some and hit it twice if got trigger nozzle but go trigger happy with air nozle
