Samsung Dex mode is no joke, I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 with a broken display, been using it as my second laptop on dex mode connected to a dell monitor which also charges the phone, with USB C with bluetooth mouse/keyboard. most energy efficient setup for me.

Nice to see people excited again. The OS settling what you call stuttering is it wasn't finished settling up. I'm on S7 and smooth as butter. Watch Flossy Carter's review for the other features in detail. Waiting for my S8+. It's a dream to work on.

Dude you have no idea how versatile and loaded wiTh features this tablet is. I have the tab s7 and is so smooth with that adaptive 120 refresh rate, Dex is on another level and the expandability through sd card or other accesories through type C connection is excelle t...This tablet is made for productivity and does not hold you back unlike apple which you have to get certain accesories in order import or export files.

Dex got me through the initial WFH wave when laptops weren't available. I was able to get work done and remote into my work tower from home.

I got the tab s8 plus yesterday also and I love it it works so well. I went with the plus for the amoled display and boy it does not dissapoint.... so happy and the keyboard is great to type on. I wish apple did the same thing with the pen though. In this day in age it should be standard.

The keyboard for ultra is better bc it has a huge trackpad. As someone that has an iPad pro and Tab s6 now ultra I can confirm literally every feature you mentioned existed even on the tab s6. Welcome to Samsung. I think you will love living in both worlds.

Trade in deals in the U.S. are insane for pre-ordering the new S8's. They gave my -$500 trade in credit for my old iPhone 8+, so long as the screen is not cracked and can turn on. Can't wait to try out a premium tablet, I've mainly stuck with the basic iPad 10.2in 7th gen-9th gen.

I bought an iPhone 10 and a Galaxy S9 back when they were first launched. After years of use the S9's screen is messed up with a lot of burn-ins while the iPhone 10's screen is still immaculate.
I just upgraded to the 120hz iPhone 13 Pro, I've used high refresh rate smartphones before but nothing beast the iPhone's implementation of 120hz.

I really love the direction Samsung is taking with Tablets for Androids. Maybe will ditch Apple with S9 next year. For now, the tablet lacks more serious pro apps like Apple, a desktop browser with extensions, thunderbolt and that famous Apple care. Four years of Android support still falls short of Apple’s commitment plus the waitin for an OS update falls behind Google’s experience.

There is a Keyboard from Samsung with a Trackpad for the tab s8/s7, it's the same Keyboard, so if you find a sale on the tab s7 keyboard don't worry about it not being for the tab s8. On Samsungs Officiall Website it is listed as Tab S8/Tab S7 keyboard cover.

Loved the video. Maybe a video showing what accessories worked with the Tab 8 vs the iPad? I would also love to see some pro apps that the Tab 8 can take advantage of as well and maybe explore a little bit more of the Dex mode? For instance - can you run 2 instances of the same app? Might be super useful when using an internet browser and studying for students! Or 2 instances of Excel or google sheets. Just some ideas!

I'm interested that you liked it! I am interested in that tablet and will be waiting for your content. My main interest is that how does the multitasking work on DeX, how well does the tablet handle apps and games, does it force close apps on DeX mode when it runs out of memory etc.
