i saw this in theatres and then didn't see it again for 20 years. What an amazing experience to watch at two very different parts of my life having been through several relationships and being abroad in foreign places. This film hits different but it's this track that echoes both a ghostly presence in emotion and a lasting sonic memory that takes nostalgia and innocence not of just relationships of the past, but of your own life's past.

Broke up with my girlfriend a month ago. Lost in Translation was our favorite movie. This song embodies the contrast of the good times and the agonizing heartache. Sweet yet painful.

A friendship of mine has been strained for the last 3 years. I did everything i possible could to repair it but nothing seemed to change. Except us. Few months ago I stopped reaching out in hope they would reach out to and not a word. So I left. Listening to this just makes me smile but also makes me feel alone.
