I still call BS on this so called "bad luck" story, to have rapid charging on a battery you need to remove the protection devices that thermally shut off the battery.
No talk about the tight tolerances on the body not allowing enough space for the battery to expand inside so it doesn't short circuit from external pressures, because I liked that one the best!

My note 7 didn't even get hot at anytime despite me using it as a gps device with the screen turned on 24/7 and I left it plugged all the time I had it in my possession, I miss my phone

I think you mean to say that Samsung won't admit the tightly compacted phone that left little to no room for a battery to expand was the cause of the issue... I love how they just keep pushing the blame on the battery and not a design flaw in the phone because they were careless with how they built it... I'm not convinced..

The burning Note 7 doesn't mean jack as long as Samsung makes a phablet that will kick butt like the Note 7 did before its demise. The total recall did nothing to change my mind.
