I was scared this wouldn’t work for me because the mannequin’s hair is short. My hair is thick, coarse, layered, and the length goes down to just below the middle of my spine.

Low and behold, only took me 30 years to learn how to do beachy waves with my straightener vs super curls. I’ve been curling my hair with a straightener since I was in high school and I’ve always gotten more glam-looking curls rather than the lived-in, sexy & casual beachy waves I wanted.

THANK YOU! Now it won’t look as if I’m going to a formal event when I’m going out casually. 😉😂

Awe, admittedly, I haven’t watched your videos much since you announced your divorce. Probably because I was going through something similar and as you know, the process is very painful. But as I’m finally emerging from this cocoon, I’ve recently decided to do something different with my hair and this short flat iron curled cut is perfect!
