Today, I'm sharing with you my updated beachy waves short hair tutorial using a curling iron by Kristin Ess. This tutorial is very in depth and I wanted this video to be a video that you can always come back to and learn how to create these really gorgeous beachy waves for any hair length. I was skeptical that this technique would really do anything different than how I usually curl my hair but I tried it today and it really does make a difference. Adding that unwind-twist action really does give a different shape and texture to the curls. Love it!

I’d love if on videos like this if you could do a update at the end on how to freshen it up the next day. The beauty of a style like this it can last for days but not have to do that much to it completely over. I struggle with that part.

I tried this technique and was finally successful!! I’ve never been able to get this look with a wand or a flat iron... it’s always just way too complicated for me. But for whatever, this video made total sense to me. And I was able to curl my hair this morning and I absolutely LOVE it! I think this is going to be my new go-to curling style!
