Wheat Harvest 2024 near Greenfield Indiana

In this video I am at a farm near Greenfield Indiana as they harvest their 2024 winter wheat crop. They are harvesting the wheat with their John Deere 9560 STS Combine with a Deere 630F head. Running beside the combine is the farms Deutz Fahr 9340 Tractor pulling a J&M 750 grain cart.

After the wheat comes off they are round baling the wheat straw with their Deutz Fahr 6175 Tractor pulling a Vermeer 504 Pro Round Baler. Also in the video you will see them moving and hauling the round bales with a Massey Ferguson 4710 loader tractor and Massey 1080 tractor pulling a bale wagon. I also got a little footage of the farms International 1486 tractor pulling a Pottinger 4 basket Tedder.

After the bales are picked up they are planting soybeans right into the wheat stubble using their John Deere 8130 Tractor and Deere 1590 no till grain drill. These are often referred to as double crop soybeans. These soybean will be harvested in the fall of the year.
