I've had this car 6 years and I love it. I'll be sorry to see it go but I've just ordered a new car through work.

What i learned from earlier cars is that Ford and quality shouldnt be in the same recommendation.

I am a big Focus fan having owned one for years, but I am not fond of the new model.
Sat in one recently at a Ford dealer, the interior is too complex; buttons all over the place and so many dash angles, and the car looks bulbous I would need time to feel at home in one.
But the doors shut beautifully and it looks like a quality car!

@alphaswimmer55 true you went in another direction, can't understand why when with VW and the Japanese gave you basically the same vehicles sold here and in Japan?
My old Focus has never rattled is reliable and doesn't burn any oil even now 170000 kms.I will go for a Fiesta this time as the new Focus is now too big, parking is a problem here and I am not sure I like the styling.

I don't understand this whole "not as good quality as a Golf" thing.. every single Golf i have been in is mate from cheap, hard brittle plastic and bits that fall off all the time, my company car is (sadly) a Golf at the moment and the gearbox cover is held on by staples -.- but shall soon replace it with a Focus. I Don't see why anyone buys a Golf when the Focus is cheaper, more refined, handles better and has some character and isn't bland and dreary looking like the shitty, overpriced Golf.

Ford is not as good as VW but its defenitely more bang for the buck, but overall because golf has more space its a better car, what is a car without bein able to take 4 people in luxury, golf does it better, focus lacks space and suspension is in the stiffer side

This car is probably the ugliest small family cars I've ever seen. I cannot understand why Ford did such a mess with the rear-end styling.
