I'm Korean and DANnnng i had no idea about these places. 🌟Oliveyoung are notorious for being on a power trip to cosmetic companies. Smaller shops the worse. They abuse their power to force the shops to sell their products exclusively. Also they sell products with overrated price. Be aware of it before you purchase😊

I ended up in these shops by accident and I agree…the prices were low BUT the thing is…things that are sold out at olive young were available at these stores

You can also go to Dongdaemun, where you can find shops like Mask shop where they sell the real products for cheap price, it’s only for foreigners (koreans cannot buy). There’s also multiple story shop nearby where toucan find all type of jewerly, accessories for a cheap price

I wish i knew this place earlier, i was in korea in august & just went straight to olive young. But still, buying korean skincare in korea is really a big deal, because of the gift & buy 1 get 1 almost for every product. Thank you for the information ❤

Tem Tem was so great, and the shopkeepers were helpful without being smothering! Olive Young was too crowded, could barely walk around. Most of the other shops, the shopkeepers were very aggressive and would not let me browse in peace.

When l first visit korea, my hotel was in myeongdong and l had no I idea about olive young, l just found those centers only buy a coincidence. I felt blessed when l saw that cheap and one price for double. Then l went to olive young l said nah man, this is hella expensive. Other center also doin tax refunds in advance with your passport. Especially in myeongdong. If l go to korea l would definitely stay in myeongdong again.

Truth. I did in fact need another suitcase. I had one big suitcase and it was not fun lugging that on the subways until we got to the airport.

I noticed that even online Olive Young is more expensive than StyleKorean. I'm in USA & order a lot from StyleKorean. They have great deals.
