Uranus got hit with a -hemorrhoid- asteroid and has to sit on its side to be comfortable.

The south pole is NOT always facing the sun. It faces the sun about a quarter of its year. Another quarter is spent with the north pole facing the sun. For the other two quarters, the sun is roughly halfway between the two, resulting in fairly normal daytime and nighttime... for Uranus anyway.

I've heard from other sources that the South Pole faces the Sun at one point in its orbit and the North Pole faces the sun half a year later.

Uranus's south pole is pointed to the Sun in the midst of its southern summer but half a Uranus year later so does its north pole.

It's axis, not access. Fire your captioner, or at least check its result before posting. And the most robust theory about the planet's tilt is that something about the size of the earth hit it, which is hardly comparable to a minor asteroid strike of earth that seems to explain the mass extinction of the dinosaurs. Your production values are solid. Your content is 😳.
