I believe my m4 came with a high cap and a mid cap and I’ve been playing around with both and I love the realism in genuinely running out of ammo and reloading as fast as I can where as the other half is less realistic imo because you’re constantly cranking and cranking and cranking all for like 20bbs

It also largely depends on your playstyle too, mid caps are great if you wanna rush objectives and CQB like a madlad but hi caps are great for PURE SUPPRESSIVE FIRE from the back lines and if your field doesn't allow LMGs/you don't like LMGs cuz you can't peak left efficiently with them, extra props if it's modeled after a quad stack or if you have a PP-19 Bizon (which holds 1000 rounds)

I personally love the G&G 120rd. The extended follower gives me flawless feeding and no bbs fall out of my hop cause they all fire. Really wish there were other mid caps that had extended followers but held more than 120.

Mid caps are the best in option,
Its somehow lighter, and yes as you pointed out it doesnt need winding, and its better and much comfortable to load 250bbs Is already enough if you can make your shots count

They are really good and durable but pretty expensive for a mag. I have 4 120bb magazines for 24 euros

That and midcap(at least that one) is way more ascetically pleasing. Like it just looks way better

No just never use a high cap lol, the winding is slower than reloading, buy 5 mid caps that hold 200 rounds each on evike for 13 bucks each (Ludex mid cap magazines)

I used to run an electric winding drum mag that held 700 as was built to look realistic and be durable. Loved it never had an issue

epm1's are the move, trust. its definitely worth spending the 35-50 bones to get a good high quality mag, plus 200+ rounds is god tier, never cheap out on loaders, gearboxes and mags

my friend likes being realistic and loading 30 bbs into mags that look like 30 rnd mags and same for his pistol and he usually does this at milsim games but he finds it rlly fun
