How To Mod Your 3DS/2DS in 2025 (FULL GUIDE)

I’m trying to upgrade my 3Ds to a 3DS XL. I wanted to keep the sd card in my 3DS and put it in the XL. The only way I know how to go about this (through tutorials I’ve seen) is to switch the 3ds files onto a smaller different SD card and then use the original wiped one to mod the XL and then transfer the saves from my 3DS to the XL. Will this work and is there an easier way to do this? Hope this all makes sense

Thank you for this guide. I've been wanting to do this for a while but so far I haven't been been brave enough. I do have a question sorry if you've already mentioned it, but I have a 3ds on stock firmware with a few games that I bought on virtual console before it closed. If I homebrew my 3ds will these games be wiped from the system? Id hate to lose my pokemon yellow and zelda saves. Many thanks in advance

I don't usually comment on anything, but i sincerely need help. Do you or anyone know how to exit out or navigate the numbers screen on the God mode section? I clicked a accidentally to many times, and now im at a weird number menu that i can't seem to get out of (this is my first time modding). If anyone can help, i would be grateful

im trying this on my 3ds xl and when trying to open the .bat file the name is not the same and instead says error and doesent work

hi at 8min13 when i plug back in the sd card after injecting it doesnt do nothing it just acts like a normal sd card it didnt change anything the menu or red screen doesnt come on
