For range players, be freaking running! If your weapon is from this game stage progression, you can melt through the hp bar with piercing. Just get moving fast, and line up the worm into a straight line and watch it melt.

I would also recommend the Leviathan Ambergris. It’s extremely useful for survivability in the DoG fight.

For those infernum peeps, i recommend either binding your dash key to another button (the dash cooldown is somehow faster or easier to use when its not a double click directional key) or to remove your dash accessory and focus on teleporting. Both are fine but i recommend the first one because you can just dash into DoG and take zero damage, just be aware that when you dash, make sure that you're not on him at the end of your dash. You'll still take a significant amount of damage. Thats all.

Edit: reason why I say to remove the dash accessory is because the UI changes, he has slower dash cooldown and its like a small worm is following you while dashing occasionally (like every 3 seconds)

The only thing I'm struggling against is the FPS. The moment the lasers start in phase 2 the game runs in about 20FPS.

Don't get me started about when Thanatos shows up. It drops to around 5FPS...

I have a different strategy, you know rail tracks, you can go faster than the second phase on them and can skip the laser attack because you go too fast for it, use a weapon that shoots back and the only worry you have is when you turn around, but that’s what the rod of discord is for. First phase you need to attack it like normal.

D.o.G despawned on me 3 times as I was about to kill it, with the "D.o.G is no longer after you" announcement. I was doing a Rogue playthrough and using Twisting Thunder as the weapon to beat it and while it's, in my opinion, the best weapon of the class for the D.o.G fight, IDK if it's bugged. I use the Stealth mechanic as the primary source of damage so I don't spam Rogue weapons, the Stealth Strike of the Twisting Thunder does extreme damage to D.o.G, taking him to second phase with a single rotation, I go slow at first to build up Adrenaline and when I get it I trigger second phase, as soon as the phase starts I do so much damage that I skip the laser bullet hell phase and the first portal chasing phase and go straight to the "desperation" chase while he says that no god fears death, but when I'm about to kill it, it despawns and doesn't give me anything, it's frustrating because it happened 3 times as I was about to kill it and IDK if it's a bug triggered by the weapon or the fact I'm beating it two fast. Help.
