You know wht I wasn't using tailwind, but I couldn't get how to shift the li items to left, , , they were in center and even after hovering the blue background covered the right part where li was shifted and wasn't covering the entire part, and this just irritated me a lot, however the video was awesome and in context of drop-down exactly what I was looking for

you need to add your event subscription in a useEffect hook and remove it as well using window.removeEventListner.
