I have had one of these about 10 years. I find it pretty good. Motors seem to work well with this. Good video.

I've used the UC100 for over a year now and I can vouch for the fact that it is a great controller.
The one thing I can't do though is get the proprietary software (UCCNC software) to work in trial mode so I can evaluate it.

Ethernet Motion Controllers may seem complex, But in my learning, I have observed that it is the new generation of Motion Control communication method preferred mostly We can Say an Industry Standard.!
Ethernet is widely used in long distance communication applications which is much more immune to Electromagnetic Interferences.

USB Connection is unstable and may easily get corrupted by Electromagnetic Interference or Power Spikes from nearby equipment or even the attached Wood router..! Longer USB Cables make this problem even worse...!

I would Suggest if You are Using USB Based System
1)Use Shielded cables with Ferrite Cores at both ends of every cable (Shielding must be connected to a common Earth Ground at either of the ends
2)Keep USB Cables as short as Possible
3)Separate Power Leads and Signal wires and route them separately
4)All High Power Equipments /Motors/VFD and their Cables should be having Shielded cables that to be grounded similarly
5)Connect All shield gound Points to a single point which goes to the Earth Ground

So I got one of the UC100 units and want to hook it up to my system which I am selling to a fiend who wants to use a newer laptop. I can not get it to work. Shows it is loaded in device manager but when Mach3 starts in complains about two files. One it says is corrupt and the other can not be found. I can check past that but it will take take over the machine.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Gary

Can I connect this UCC100 to Mach3 board?

just so we're all clear, it is required to operate a 32-bit system along with the USB CNC controller, ...?.? correct?.

Can you use a USB Pendant with it concurrently with the UC100?

Hi Dave, Been fishing for a controller to replace my failed and failing XP parallel pc collection. Product searches brought me to your review. Having seen and contacted a user with one problem with a UC100 due to a Mach3 latest version issue. He went back to ver62 versus 66 to eliminate a problem. May I ask what version of Mach3 you are running with your UC100?

Dave, I have purchased the UC100 controller. I have a 32 bit laptop running Windows 10.
I installed Mach3 and checked the the box for the to use the UC100.
My question is since I don't have my machine built when I ran the road runner file simulation it blasted through in say 5 to 10 seconds and I did not see it trace out the cutting of the roadrunner on the display screen. Do you know if this is normal?
