Thanks for sharing that info with us, to be honest, when I first started my business, I had a shipper that I was delivering for, through a third party, start having direct conversations with me. He liked my work ethic and my efficiency with the route so he asked me what I would charge him to service that route. I told him $350, and he cut off all lines of communication with me. I shared that experience to say this: if you don’t know how to determine your rates or you don’t know what the rates are in your specific market, you’re going to either cheat yourself or scare your potential client away like I did.
By the way, the third party company was charging him $80 less than my offer

I was told to rate it by “1.50-2 bucks” a mile so keep it going like that? So if it’s 10 miles just add up “1.50-2”? Lmk I don’t really get it
