So sorry about the mishap, this is really a wonderful jig to prevent a repeat showing. Thanks for sharing both the backstory and solution ... we can all take something from this and hopefully be smart enough to learn from it. Cheers!!

I did wonder why you were wearing the glove but I didn’t want to ask.Now after seeing the damage I’m so glad you still have the full use of your thumb.
And your jig I don’t now how you keep coming up with these master pieces but you keep delivering this one is a very safe one for your fingers I’ll be making it for sure thank you once again. I always look forward to your channel.

Great jig, thanks for the detailed video!

I have one suggestion for improvement: If you drill shallow pocket holes for Neodymium disc magnets in both the runner and the base, you can have a snap on system for changing the runner orientation. Much quicker to change orientation and since there is no axial load on the runner it shouldn't snap off in use.

I subscribed to your YouTube channel a few months ago and and I have watched most of the videos that you have posted. I really like the jig you made for the router table that you illustrate in this video. I have watched a lot of videos where people are using the router table and I cringe when I see them getting their fingers close to the spinning bit. I just had a couple of questions about this jig as to why you only made one and made two slots in the bottom and need to change positions of the tongue that rides in the miter slot of the router table. Would it be less time consuming to have made two of the jigs and had one with the tongue in one position and the other with the tongue in the other position and simply change out the jigs depending on what position you need to have the tongue? I am also thinking that the more you have to screw the tongue in place and unscrew it to change positions, the holes will begin to tear out. Putting them in a fixed position in the first place would allow you to have glued the tongue in the slot for a more permanent fit and less wear and tear on the jig. Just something I noticed and wanted to suggest to you to provide a little helpful advice. I really enjoy watching your videos on your channel.

Greetings from Belarus. :) The design is not made high? The cutter overhang is large and there may be some embarrassment. And so cool!

Using gloves while manipulating rotating machines is extremely dangerous, and should be avoided at all cost. That's one of the first things you learn at wookworking school. If the glove is ever caught by the tool (blade or else), you won't be able to get your hand back and instead of almost loosing a finger, you'd certainly loose the whole hand.

you've ruined your finger a lot, brother! What was it spicy? Tired? Have a rest! Didn't work go? Take a break and have some tea! Take care! Any device for the safe processing of small parts, even not beautifully made, allows you to preserve the beauty of the human body.

Please throw away your chicken feet pushing stick for your table saw. Make a better pushing stick will prevent accident while using table saw. Don't use gloves when using rotary machine.
