It's 1665, and the plague is sweeping England; as fear and paranoia grows, Grace (Charlotte Kirk) is accused of witchcraft, and Judge Moorcroft (Sean Pertwee) sets out to make her confess in Neil Marshall's new horror, premiering on Shudder.

I actually liked hellboy. Liked dog soldiers too.

Personally, I'm looking forward to "Jakob's Wife". Starring and produced by the inimitable Barbara Crampton. I guess you might be too. ???

Mostly agree with your assessment, Will. It just seems like a vehicle for Charlotte Kirk but unfortunately a very poor one. From when I heard "moron" I thought the film was in trouble. Have added a link to your review on the MOVIES and MANIA website.

I see this movie as a melodramatic deconstruction film about Metoo/Hollywood culture with dark comedy in it. Charlotte Kirk even liked when I wrote and asked about it to her.
There is no way this is a simple witch hunt horror movie.
