I used a Audioquest Forrest HDMI cable 2 metres. I replaced it with a FIBBR optical HDMI cable 2 metres. I could not believe it at first but the picture is actually more sharp and crispy.

Can you notice any change in input lag for gaming?

I recently tried an optical HDMI cable of a different brand that worked mostly well, but it had constant black acreen dropouts specifically in the case of usig ARC + high bandwidth video signals like 32 or 40 Gbps. If i avoided ARC then as was well.

Is this an inherent limitation of optical cable? Or would this brand work for this case?

i found your video while searching for hdmi cables. i recently installed sony a95k tv with seinheisser soundbar. i used the audioquest as earc cable. i am having issues deciding which cables should i get for my gaming consoles. i got both xbox and ps5 so which hdmi 2.1 active optical cables should i get? thx
