Who ever wrote this video script is out of touch in many aspects of what the typical boomer thinks. As a boomer I disagree with 6, "you are going through a midlife crisis. I disagree with 7, "you demand respect just because of your age". 13, "you
don't understand modern technology". etc... Did the author actually talk to a variety of boomers before they came up with this list?

"Used by Millennials" nah it's used by later gens who have no clue what baby"boomer" means, and just think it means anyone older than them. In reality a babyboomer is someone born between 1946 and 1964.

Signs you are a boomer. You want to protect social security and medicare at all costs, yet frown on those younger receiving government assistance such as medicaid food stamps and housing vouchers. Meanwhile wanting all sorts of discounts and tax breaks. Another sign, you would be better off financially and have an less stressful life renting but insist on buy a condo or owning a house.

Bar soap is better! I can take a shower in half the time it takes you to wash yourself w/ liquid soap. I can keep the soap in one hand and wash without stopping. Lets see, with liquid soap, pick up the container, squeeze out in your hand, wash your left arm, squeeze out more, wash your right arm, squeeze out more... You also use more soap with liquid then with bar. Advantages on using bar soap, save money, save time, save water, save the environment.

You may also be a Boomer if you have a habit or need to control or "hijack" your childrens' or other relatives' lives or life choices. One example of this could be a parent telling their child where they can or can't go to college, or what they can or can't major in while there.

Ok boomer is probably the most misunderstood term to ever exist. I guarantee you 80% of people that use, “OK Boomer” don’t even know what a boomer is. They just see other people doing it and thinks it’s cool.

Wooow..over-generalization! I am not a boomer myself. But one thing is for sure: everybody's time will come to be old and have an "outdated mindset". Each and everyone of the people who now say: "Hey, boomer!" will be old themselves and their mindset will be also outdated for sure. This cycle has been happening for as long as there have been humans on this planet. The only way to escape having an outdated mindset, that is according to younger generations, is...not becoming old. When you prematurely kick the bucket, you will not be assumed to have an outdated mindset :)

Yes, you are right in some respects. We Boomers did grow up in a financially wonderful time (at least for us white folks). However, you seem to have mixed up some of our values with those of our parents’ generation. I’ve found most of my values line up with those of the Millennials. So do most of my friends. I cut cable years ago and get all my news online. Most of us are working hard to get rid of the self-interested, and corrupt current administration. But, yes, I do type with my index finger. 😝
