Just look at 7:39 and compare the same street and houses but yards with and without fences...much much beter are unfenced yards...make the street wider and more comfortable than modern separated yards.

I went to some of the locations of stand by me, some of the shots were filmed in brownsville oregon about a hour and half from me, in a small town... the scene were they shot the gun in the alley way, i went back to it...
