Next to slight crop 13mm 1.4 and 11mm 1.8, aperture looks like a price to pay.

Nice build, but Samyang 14f2.8 or Panasonic 18f1.8 cheaper and faster lenses. Not sure what can attract in such combination (angle/aperture). Maybe I missed something, or this lens cleaner, sharper with no CA and no distortions ...then it may find love.

The Samyang 18mm AF is much lighter, a touch longer and a full stop faster. And a lot cheaper.

Meh, looks like a fun lens and something so small you could carry it at all time just in case, inside your camera bag but damn I didn't expect that thing to be that expensive yet only a miserable F4. It's 850$CAD which is not that far from a 20x more useful "Sigma 24-70 F2.8" that's only often on sale at 1100-1200$.
