Joanna Forbes L'Estrange (vocalist, formerly with The Swingles) and her husband Alexander L'Estrange (multi-instrumentalist) perform Michel Legrand's beautiful song 'How do you keep the music playing?' in a stunning arrangement by Alexander L'Estrange. The arrangement has also been recorded by the choir of Trinity Choir, Cambridge, conducted by Stephen Layton.

This track is taken from the album 'New things to say: songs of L'Estrange & Legrand', recorded by L'Estranges in the Night and released on their andagio label in 2012. The album was a tribute to the memory of Christiane Legrand, Michel's sister and the lead soprano in the original incarnation of The Swingle Singers; she died in November 2011.

Beautiful!

To be honest, I prefer it in the key the Trinity College Choir did it in on their video. ;-)
