Materials:
paint

Tools:
paint brush
Irwin Quick-grip clamp

How-to:
1) Paint one side of your project piece
2) Attach a quick-grip clamp to the edge of a table
3) Flip your project piece and set the painted side facedown on the tip of the clamp
4) Paint the other side of the angled material
5) Flip the project piece again and re-coat the original surface
6) Repeat and paint the second surface

Nice tip, I wish I didn't go to university to learn this lesson, as I had forgetten about it.

Good idea, I usually put 4 small finish nails in my work surface leaving an inch or so sticking up then cut the heads off leaving a sharp point. Lay the board across the nails and paint—top, and two sides then grab it by the unpainted ends to flip and paint the other side and ends. The marks left by the cut nail ends are usually not noticeable but easily touched up if needed.
