Wow! Way to set an amazing example of prioritized, citizen safety driven, efficient, and inclusive method of effectively handling the COVID-19 crisis! I have been waiting for a review on Singapore's methods based on their Total case to recovery and death ratios (which are AMAZING!) and this is it! Nothing in the video raised any red flags or concern like with a lot of reports coming out of China, USA, the CDC and the WHO, and is it just me or was that incredibly refreshing!? And it didn't come off as showy or naive, or with some political agenda lurking in the background. It was humble, honest, and accurate. Thank you Singapore for the confidence that this pandemic can be effectively managed, not just with an iron fist, or useless rhetoric, but with modern science, love, and priority of the people, and not just ones economy! From just a middle-aged white guy on the other side of the globe worried about his family and the health of everyone, you have my respect and admiration! #KindnessDuringCrisis! Love it!

So proud being Singaporean, so heartwarming to see how the common folk come together, rally together, to show love and care, to show support for the medical care workers, so proud to see how Singaporeans are creative and innovative. I live in Germany and I think they don't have any concept of contact tracing or the cluster concept. Instead, authorities issued advice: "please stock up 14 days' supplies". So the shelves are empty, leading to more panic and fear.


Isn't it time for countries to come together, instead of a race to "first to come out with vaccine"? Isn't it time for countries to come together to share expertise, knowledge and experience? Singapore government's experience in dealing with SARS and now Covid-19 ought to be shared ... our little red dot has something to teach.

We, as Singaporeans are very appreciative to all doctors, nurses, medical personnels, healthcare workers, contact tracing teams and everyone involved for working very hard and trying their very best to contain the Covid-19. If not for their early actions and government restriction of travellers from infected countries, it could be much worse as we're living in a small island with most people in close contacts. Hope that everyone be more responsible and stay at home if they are required to be quarantined. Take care everyone and keep healthy!
