We loved this game around here! We felt it was really competitive in 2 players, "hey I will let this fire on your trees and extinguish those next to mine" and on 4 players it was more cooperative! those minigames are super cool as well!

Strangely how this is a dice tower essential and it does not even get a seal of excellence from Tom or Zee.

I'm a bit confused on how the dice are used. I think it's mentioned you can use axes to change the value but I must be missing the part about when you roll the dice and how they are used. Maybe I'm confused too because the cards have pips on them...are "the dice" just the value on the card you play? I don't remember seeing actual dice when the components were shown.
