As far as what the purpose of such powerful hardware on the iPad Pro I would say gaming and all the photo/video editing creating software especially when it come to utilizing the pro raw video / photo content that you can capture on iPhone then edit on iPad Pro

Due to lack of phone redesign I’ve seriously been debating switching to the Samsung strongly feel Apple is way behind on the redesign I have had every model from the first s model to the current pro max and it’s saddening I’m even considering the change

I downloaded the ios 18 developer software was hoping for legit customization. To my disappointment the only beneficial thing is the schedule texts. And the little apps dark or light tone or color change. Why can’t they give us Apple theme store so we can have fun with our iPhones smh

Mayyyybe they’re able to reduce recourses needed for Apple Intelligence to function, just like they did with Stage Manager on the iPad. That function would only be able to operate on M1 iPads, but a month later they added it to older versions (which made me friggin happy 😄). Now if that Private Cloud Compute proves itself to really work fast and reliable, I think they might be able to bring it to 13 Pro and newer 😌

The problem with AI is that it will create Laziness with
no incentive in how to learn.

This must be prohibited within school. It should never be used as a learning tool. Put a book in the kids hands and teach him how to read and comprehend . Also, he must learn the concepts of mathematics.


It should never be used in elementary and junior high school. The ability to use it as an aid in high school. I can understand it should be done with caution. That there will be rules and plates consequences, violated by the student

I’m excited for Apple Intelligence however had my iPhone 12 not had a fatal accident, I would not have a 15 pro max to utilize it. And yes Apple is playing catch up. The Pixel pros have a lot of AI features that work seamlessly

Honestly, the high spec ipads make sense. I know a lot of people in trades that use the iPad for work and run CAD software on them.

Knowing Apple they’re always late to the game with new features. But when the do release a product or feature it normally is the most flushed out and useful compared to its competitors. I’ll be interested to see if that’s the case here with Apple Intelligence.

yeah, they want to force phone upgrades. They have already announced this, and are keeping it quiet from any main marketing, only in fine print, and are still selling people iPhone 15. They knew this was their plan before the 15 even came out.

People always complain that the power of the new Apple SOCs is not being used. Same folks complain when new functionally is only available on newer models. 😅
