I can’t be the only on who thinks that Eva has some natural ballet talent! ❤

As a French person, I don’t know what that means either… I mean some ballet terms cannot be fully translated because they’re so ancient and also invented. Volé comes from voler (to fly) clearly but brisé doesn’t sound right, since briser means to break… so perhaps it has another meaning I don’t know about. Maybe the jump (flying in the air) is broken (interrupted) by the beating of the legs? 😅

a "brisé" is a "broken step", a "brisé volé" is a "broken step in the air".

Chase is a WAY nicer teacher than Amber 😂 Chase says "yeah you got it!" to what Amber would say "mmmm kinda"

This title is correct regarding this ballet step. It takes stamina, strength, endurance, an airiness to it, strong feet, and incredible amount of ballone to execute this step with the speed, lightness and grace needed to perform it in the Bluebird section of a ballet. The only sound you should hear when performed correctly are thighs beating like the sound of helicopter blades turning at full speed. You should not hear the breathing from the dancer or the feet landing and taking off from the ground.

Idk if it's true, but my French ballet teacher always explained beautifully saying it translates to "broken flying" because it looks like you're a bird with a broken wing trying to rise up into the air, but unable to

I love you for using that Mozart piece as background music ♡

This takes SO MUCH more muscle than you would think.😂

Brisé is a ballet movement in which the dancer jumps off one foot, beats the legs together, and lands on both feet. A Brisé vole means you land on one foot, not both.

Actually "Brisé Volé" is translated by "broken fly" or a french that actually has no littéral translation because it depend on the context

I love your face when you get it!!! You are slay girl! Keep on dancing! 🎉

That translation makes sense -ish because this movement is in the Bluebird pas de deux of Sleeping Beauty. Flight people! airy, flighty pitter-patter jumps 😅

As a dancer, brisé means ‘broken’ and volé means ‘fly’. I know, it’s random

If I may say I would translate it in broken flys. Like a stopped '''battement'' in mid air. I'm french speaking, did some ballet years ago. I know ballet codes where made in french from the start of this art in early ages.

And I am concentrating on the Mozart's Sonata playing in the background
