Double Object Pronouns in Italian: Pronomi Doppi o Combinati

Показать описание
English speakers often confused by double object pronouns in Italian, but they're not that difficult! And also, Italians use them all the time, so it will be a good idea to learn them and use them in regular speech. Let's discuss the grammar in English first, and then go through many examples so that things make perfect sense.

Script by Patrizia Farina, Professor of Italian at Western Connecticut State University and Purchase College.

I felt lost and was waiting for the lesson to finish, because I was like :" omg, how am I supposed to memorize all of that!" Then, my answers were all correct in the comprehension, that made me feel good. I think I get it. Thanks a lot professor, I could never do it without you.

This is what a good explanation looks like. A lean explanation without extras.

Mille Grazie Professor Dave - bellissimo!
Grateful for your concise/clear and easy to grasp explanation on a very difficult concept - wish there were more “comprehension” exercises - you are definitely by far the best Italian professors around 🙏🇮🇹

These were helpful, but there’s still no way I’m getting a grade above 70% on my Italian test

Hi, just wanted to ask if the 'ne' was supposed to be written to be paired with an indirect object pronoun in order for it to be a double pronoun? And that 'ne' substitutes for the direct object as a partitive?

I think u may mean the Infinitive: daglielo! Parlamene! Maria-Teresa Rivi
