I happen to know Mike through my son who is in the Army. Mike was one of his Mentors. Mike is a real and true American hero. He’s for real.

Mike is the real deal. Josh and Mike should team up to develop a PACE commo plan for the American Contingency movement.

Is this guy for real? He has held every position and done everything. That’s pretty cool!

This is the best video I've seen on the value of communications. No fluff, no BS just really good information on the practical value of HAM radio.

This was an enjoyable and informative podcast. If you have him on again - of course you will - it would be great to get his take on small squad coms, setup, gear selection (radios, ptt, headsets, incorporating into plate carriers etc) for kit for the civilian side of things.

Sure there is milsim/airsoft guidance, but I think having his expertise and operations experience would be a fantastic conversation

HRCC I dont know if you'll see this or not, but can you bring Mike back and do more of these or if you have a few more SOCOM guys in your deck that'd be awesome. I was glued to the screen the whole time. Thank you for this. I think the way the world is now its imperative to have this insight.

Great video. This is the first time I've seen one of your videos before. Its definitely opened my mind to that form of communication.
Side note....Mike is the man. I have a ton of respect for him and people like him. Politics aside im convinced its people like him that allow me, my wife and three little girls to sleep safe at night.

Wow. This is fascinating. Sheds much light on how much advance training, planning, and rehearsal goes into special operations missions. The complexity is amazing.

Loving this! I’ve been wondering how military radios do their thing. And I as well found you after the Field Craft interview you did and knew nothing about ham radio at the time. (Just passed my General test last week!)

PACE is also important in Wildland Firefighting, anytime you have to be flexible in your response. Comms is almost always a root cause in incidents within an incident.
