Reviving The Energy! The Beatles TWIST AND SHOUT New 2024 Stereo Remix, Unlocked Vocals #thebeatles

Welcome to my latest remix! In this rendition, I dive into the sheer magic that enveloped The Beatles as they recorded 'Twist And Shout' live at E.M.I. Studios back in 1963. The energy and power captured on tape that evening of Monday, February 11th 1963 remain unparalleled even after 61 years!

While the official 2023 remix aimed to refine the basic recording, I felt it somewhat dulled the raw intensity present in the original. Thus, my 2024 true stereo remix endeavors to reignite every ounce of that energy, pulling out all the stops.

To achieve this, I prioritized centering the drums and bass, amplifying their presence akin to the original mono release. Unlike the Giles Martin remix, which placed the drums predominantly to the left, I aimed to maintain the punch and weight that unify all instruments. Additionally, I emphasized the bass to align seamlessly with the kick drum.

Moreover, I meticulously dissected the performance to add depth. By separating the backing vocals from the lead and spreading the three-part harmonies across the stereo stage, I aimed to recreate the immersive experience of the era without resorting to artificial stereo effects or added elements.

This remix is strictly a deconstruction and reconstruction of the original vocals and instruments, adhering to the style of the era in which it was recorded. No new elements were introduced beyond those present in the original, preserving the authenticity and essence of The Beatles' timeless performance.

Great new mix version!! You can really hear how John's voice is just SHREDDED!!! Brings out the raw energy of the track!! They recorded this at the end of an 11hr session for the "Please Please Me" album in 1963. I love how you isolated Paul and George's voices too! Bravo, WELL DONE!!!

The instruments sound great - much wider are heavier than Giles Martin's remix. But am I the only one who notices a bunch of weird things in the vocals? At 0:29 when he says "me goin' now" it sounds like the vocal is slowed or stretched. I won't continue to nitpick, but I heard several other spots where the vocals sound almost glitchy, stretched and/or degraded a bit. I just discovered your channel today, and there are SO many brilliant remixes. Some of the best I've heard. Because of that, I found it strange that this one would have some seemingly very obvious issues with the vocals, so I thought I'd mention it.
